Soaring with the Eagles
I count it a sweet thing when I am wronged for His sake, or rejected because I follow after Him. You see, I am a servant; as such, I ought not expect to be exalted above my Lord.
God is With Us!
He is ever present with those who love Him. He never forgets them, but is always looking out for their interests, sheltering them in time of danger, providing for their every need, both temporal and spiritual. He reads every thought of their hearts; He marks every impulse of devotion and love to Him. He shapes all the influences surrounding their lives for development and refining, and hearkens to their every cry for aid, comfort, sympathy, and fellowship.
A Soul Grateful
We can close our eyes and worship our Lord
We can step out before Him and speak His name
We can worship and adore; we can cry with great joy
We can tell Him how grateful we are He came ...
To free the hostages and heal the sick
To establish life over death and righteousness over sin
We have tasted His goodness, of its overwhelming flavor
Now we want never to return to where we once have been.
Upon our knees we sense His presence
It is as a refreshing cool gentle breeze
To these souls once blighted with corruption
And to these hearts, now yearning to please.
